Pot Wash Swallows

At our September meet at the fabulous new Nottingham site there was a clutch of four swallows safely nested above the pot washing area! According to the site staff this was the third clutch they had raised in the same nest this year. However, the fledglings need to leave for their long migration to southern Africa in the next couple of weeks, so they are really late in the season. The site staff have been delighted to have these protected birds nesting but they are looking forward to not having to clean up their mess every day!
