A special interest section of the Camping and Caravanning Club …. No-fuss social camping by cycle, foot or any type of powered transport.
We are open to cycle campers, backpackers, motorcyclists, car campers – anyone who likes the freedom of setting off with a small tent and enough kit to be comfortable.
We have meets all year, we don’t mind the weather, we just need to take different gear!
We set our summer meets programme early in the new year and winter meets are planned by autumn.

With a bus stop directly outside the entrance, our Canterbury Club Site is the perfect base from which to explore the city, coast and countryside.
This campsite offers campers the opportunity to explore the rural and coastal beauty of Kent.
With footpaths, frequent buses and Park and Pedal, access to the cobbled streets of Canterbury couldn’t be easier. Canterbury Club Site is well laid out and boasts toilet and shower facilities, washing up area, children’s play area and dog walking routes.
Encompassing a spectacular cathedral and an eclectic mix of shops, retailers, bars and restaurants, Canterbury is a city teeming with history, heritage and culture.
With over 350 miles of magnificent coastline, Kent is a county famous for its bustling seaside resorts.
If you’re looking for a typical Kent beach, head to Herne Bay, with two miles of seafront adorned with colourful beach huts and a pier.

An ideal campsite for exploring Teesdale & the Yorkshire Dales.
If you’re looking for peace and tranquillity, a rural location with plenty of walking and cycling opportunities our Barnard Castle Club campsite is for you.
Located on the north eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, handy for the attractions of Teesdale and within walking distance of Barnard Castle or Barney as it is known locally, the tree-lined campsite is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
This pretty tree-lined campsite has 90 pitches. The camping field is level and has a well placed modern facilities block.
There are plenty of walks direct from the site and an excellent dog walk for those who don’t want to venture too far. Children are catered for with a play area. There’s fishing at Balderhead and Hury reservoirs to the west of the site. For days out visit the Bowes Museum, Bolton Castle, the Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre, the Dales Countryside Museum and England’s highest unbroken waterfall, High Force.

As soon as you are a member you will be assigned to a DA (District Association). This will be the closest DA to where you live and shown on your membership card. You are then free to go camping with any of the 93 DA's over 13 Regions in the UK.
